Day 7 "1932"

I had to use my iphone to take this picture today, since I will be coming home late tonight and I did not want to break my commitment to this project. This will happen a few times this year, but I will continue to do my best. This is an old radio, not sure if authentic, I found somewhere around the office. Thought it would make, although not excellent, but a great picture. Image was edited with "Best Camera" application on my iphone.

Found these bamboo very small chairs in China Town.

Day 5 "Lets Play Chess"

Today I walked to Columbus Park, which is right across the street from my job, with no image idea in mind, which being that this is only the 5th day worried me. So much for pre-visualization. This was one of my first images. Its not unusual for this part of the park to be filled with Chinese chess players, yes they still play in the dead of winter. Except for this one table every other one was taken. Soon after I took the picture a group came to play.

Day 4 "Water Cooler"

During my lunch break I decided to take a walk around Tribeca and found the empty shelves of “Boomerang Toy” store in New York City. It’s a specialty store with a selection of toys and books that challenge thinking, awaken creativity, and develop imagination. I’ve always been curious about this store, because the toys on their windows always looked different than the ones I’m used to. But now it’s just an empty shell; just another sign of the bad economy.

Day 2 "Snowy Morning"

Woke-up this morning to find snow still falling since last night. One of the good things about living upstate is always waking up to a quiet morning. This is the view from my room.

Day 1 "Oh Deer"

This is what we found on the walkway to our house after a long night of celebration. I thought the deer tracks made a perfect first image to start the new year with. Also a reminder of a white New Years Eve.
