Day 14 "Blue Smoke"

Trying to maintain my simplicity theme, I took this picture while walking around china town today. Hope I didn't overdo it with the editing. Since not at home, I had to edit image using Picnik.com. I really wanted to emphasize on the smoke and the blue from the sky. The dark around the edges just makes it more dramatic, but it also helps to hide the rail on the bottom left of the picture.

Day 6 "Bamboo Chair"

Found these bamboo very small chairs in China Town.

Day 5 "Lets Play Chess"

Today I walked to Columbus Park, which is right across the street from my job, with no image idea in mind, which being that this is only the 5th day worried me. So much for pre-visualization. This was one of my first images. Its not unusual for this part of the park to be filled with Chinese chess players, yes they still play in the dead of winter. Except for this one table every other one was taken. Soon after I took the picture a group came to play.
